Eduardo Salvino is from Belo Horizonte/MG, lives and works in São Paulo/SP - Brazil. Multimedia artist, researcher and professor, he holds a PhD in Visual Poetics (2024), ECA-USP/SP; a Master's in Communication and Semiotics (2011), PUC-SP/SP and a Bachelor's and Licentiate in Arts (2003), Escola Guignard-UEMG/MG. He participates in: Research Groups in Art, Design and Digital Media: ADMD (ECA/USP) and Arte/I.A: GAIA (FAU/USP), Centro de I.Ada Poli/USP. He is also a member of SOCINE (Brazilian Society for Cinema and Audiovisual Studies). Salvino investigates the audience and the local context in dialogue with the binomial space and time. As a nexus, he explores the acoustic and the visual through multimedia interventions. He currently works with machine learning, AI and algorithms, questioning blackness and whiteness and their intersections with technology, with emphasis on the acronym and atopy present in digital interfaces, which allows him to create artistic movements in online and offline networks. He works in cultural centers, social projects and schools. From 2011 to 2015, he was a professor of Audiovisual, Multimedia and RTV at the UNIP and FMU FIAM FAAM-SP Colleges.
